This Privacy Policy explains how J2ME Games collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use the website, sign in with Telegram, open the Telegram Mini App, upload JAR files, and sync your game library across devices.

This Privacy Policy applies to the J2ME Games website and its Telegram Mini App. It covers both access methods supported by the service:

  • opening the application inside Telegram as a Mini App;
  • opening the website in a regular browser and signing in with Telegram.

2. Data We Collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect and process the following data:

  • Telegram account data that Telegram shares after your authorization, such as your Telegram user ID, username, first name, last name, display name, profile photo URL, and language code.
  • Account and gameplay data that you create in the service, such as your uploaded JAR files, extracted icons, game library metadata, game settings, play statistics, and sync timestamps.
  • Technical and security data, such as session identifiers, device or browser information, IP address, request metadata, timestamps, and server logs needed to protect the service from abuse and keep it working.
We do not request your Telegram phone number, Telegram contacts, or access to private chats.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data only for legitimate service operation purposes, including:

  • authenticating you with Telegram and linking your account to a stable Telegram user ID;
  • loading your profile, settings, uploaded games, and synchronized library on different devices;
  • storing and serving the JAR files, icons, and related metadata that you choose to upload;
  • measuring play activity and preserving settings so the application works consistently;
  • protecting the service from fraud, abuse, malformed uploads, and excessive automated traffic;
  • debugging, maintaining, and improving reliability and performance.

We process your data because it is necessary to provide the service you request, to maintain account access and synchronization, and to protect the service from abuse. By choosing Telegram sign-in or opening the Telegram Mini App, you authorize Telegram to send the data required for authentication.

5. Data Sharing and Processors

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your Telegram identity for advertising. Your data may be processed by infrastructure providers strictly for service delivery, such as hosting, database, object storage, reverse proxy, logging, and monitoring providers.

We may also disclose data if required by law, to enforce our rights, or to investigate abuse that threatens the service or other users.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

After successful sign-in, the service may create a secure session cookie to keep you logged in. The website and Mini App may also store local cached data in browser storage, including IndexedDB, to speed up loading and reduce repeated downloads of your game library.

7. Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as it is reasonably needed for the service, including:

  • account and library data while your account remains active or until you request deletion;
  • uploaded files until you remove them or request account deletion;
  • security, audit, and operational logs for a limited period needed for troubleshooting and abuse prevention;
  • backup copies for a short retention window where technically required.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS transport, authenticated sessions, access controls, and server-side validation. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

You may contact us to exercise reasonable privacy rights, including:

  • requesting access to the account data associated with your Telegram identity;
  • requesting deletion of your uploaded games, settings, or the entire account;
  • asking questions about how your data is used.
